FULTON RECEIVES TOP HONORS FROM NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES NaCO
Fulton County is one of six Georgia Counties that received NaCo Achievement Awards on Friday, July 18, 2010, at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center in Washoe, Nevada.

- Re-Use Program implemented in August 2009 which diverted usable items from the landfill as follows:
Volunteer opportunity for County departments to donate typical office supplies or items of little or no monetary value for reuse
Over 2,500 diskettes collected for the County’s library branches. Diskettes are made available for library patrons to save electronic information.
140 CD/DVDs have been collected and distributed to the Public Works Education and Outreach Program. CD/DVDs are used in environmental programming for children at summer camps and libraries.
