A dedication ceremony of the Fulton County Government Center at Fulton Industrial Boulevard will take place Friday, September 17, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at the center’s new location of 5440 Fulton Industrial Boulevard.
South Fulton Mayors, Vice Chairman William Edwards, and an Atlanta City Council member meet each month to discuss South Fulton issues of common interest. The August 2010 meeting attendees included the mayors of East Point, College Park, Hapeville, Fairburn, Palmetto, and Chattahoochee Hills as well as Atlanta City Council Woman Keisha Lance Bottoms. From January to June 2009 until January to June 30, 2010 unincorporated south Fulton County saw an increase of housing permits from 21 to 85, according to Randy Beck, deputy director of Planning and Zoning for Environmental and Community Development.
